Love is not a uniquely Christian possession. Rather, love is practised and propagated by many religious and humanist movements, both ancient and modern. 1 Is there a natural cross-fertilization of all of these manifestations of and discourses on love? Moreover, God’s love cannot be restricted to the realm of the Christian churches.
