Audiences with the marauders are usually held in what once was the Mayor's house near the market square. It will be difficult for the characters to approach the town without being seen by Krola's guards. They may, however, meet civilians who are out hunting or foraging; such bands occasionally set out without guards, with family members held in the market place as a pledge of their good behavior and prompt return.
